Can AutoPips or anyone withdraw funds from my MT5 broker account?
No, it is structurally impossible. The MetaTrader 5 terminal protocol only supports trade execution (placing/closing orders). Modern brokers (Exness, XM, IC Markets, FTMO, etc.) strictly restrict fund deposits and withdrawals to your personal broker web portal, protected by your personal 2FA (SMS OTP, Email PIN) and linked KYC bank accounts. Furthermore, your trading passwords are encrypted at rest with private 256-bit AES encryption.
Does my computer or phone need to stay running?
No. AutoPips runs on our dedicated high-speed Windows Server 2022 VPS located in Europe with sub-millisecond liquidity latency. Once configured, you can turn off your device.
Can I close or modify copied trades manually from my phone?
Yes, absolutely. All trades are placed directly into your own broker account. You can open your standard MT5 mobile app on iPhone or Android anytime to monitor, close, or modify stop loss / take profit levels.
Does AutoPips support Prop Firms like FTMO, Funding Pips, and FundedNext?
Yes. Any prop firm that provides a MetaTrader 5 account is supported. Simply enter your prop firm account number and server name in the MT5 Setup page.
